Tile Backsplash

I added a tile backsplash to 2 walls in my kitchen, behind the stove and behind the sink.
*Options I considered for this project:
I only considered ceramic tile.
*Questions and unexpected events that arose during the project:
I started off using a hand-held tile cutter but needed to buy a larger one with a sliding blade.
*My motivation to do this project:
I wanted the surfaces to be easy to clean as well as attractive.
*Project Steps:
I measured the area I wanted to tile, primed the walls, added the adhesive, then the tiles and finally the grout. A couple of days later I added a sealant.
Materials:
Tile Adhesive - $35.00
Sealant - $12.00
Ceramic Tile - $85.00
Tile Cutter - $28.00
