Tiling the bathroom floor.
*Options I considered for this project:
I knew that I wanted larger squares and a neutral color.
*Questions and unexpected events that arose during the project:
The hardest part of the project was coming up with a design to use to fit onto the floor. The tiles had to match up. I broke a lot of tiles at first, but then figured out a system.
* Cost Comments:
cost per tile.
*My motivation to do this project:
I wanted to update the tile in the bathroom. The tile that was there was the original from 40 years ago when the house was built.
*Project Steps:
I went to Home Depot and watched a demonstration on how to lay tile. I picked out the supplies and the tile. I took my time and arranged the tiles on the floor like I wanted them to be and then began the project.
Advice:
Don't get in a hurry and don't get frustrated when some of the tiles end up breaking. Buy extra tiles for the project.
Materials:
Tile - $2.65
Grout - $18.00
New Tile
