Guest Bathroom

Larry
by Larry
I took my builders beige walls and infused them a vibrant brick red and added rich colorful accessories.
*Options I considered for this project:
I considered brown and blue, which seems to be a hot combination right now.
*Questions and unexpected events that arose during the project:
I didn't realize how many coats of the red paint it would take to cover the walls adequately. All the little accessories add up!
*My motivation to do this project:
The bathroom was beyond blah and needed a blast of color.
*Project Steps:
I've always liked deep reds and earth tones so I took my inspiration from the wall color that I saw in a friends home and then chose the shower curtain and went from there.
Advice:
Pick the wall color or the signature accessory for the bathroom and build around that.
Don't underestimate the cost of all the "little things".
Materials:
Paint - $72.00
Shower curtain - $45.00
Shower curtain rod, rings, soap dispenser, hand towel rack and trash can - $115.00
Wall art - $29.00
