Comparing regular a level to Laser level for home improvement.
*Options I considered for this project:
Old level has been used for years, meanwhile the Laser level needs batteries.
*My motivation to do this project:
New technology or old tools...you be the judge.
*Project Steps:
The old level works as you expect it to , but it is also limited in delivery. The Laser level, although needing batteries, measures distance, can set a beam for multiple items to be leveled and works incredibly well. It is as reliable as the older level, but more versatile.
Advice:
The Laser level is not a toy and you must not look into the beam(s)

I agree the lazer is a good leveling system for inside, the one's a most stores are not to costly. But if you buy one to use outside it will not have the power in lazer to over come the sunlight. Commercial lazer can over come this but price starts around $400.
