Kitchen Backsplash!!

I am going to install a new kitchen back splash!! So excited!
*My motivation to do this project:
Our house was built 2.5 years ago and we STILL have not gotten a backsplash installed. This has been a bone of contention in my home and it needs to be done ASAP, before the holidays!!

Just to the left of the cabinetry in the last photo is my kitchen table which has this light over it. Love the warm tones.

Tin ceiling tiles! They're only $6 for a 2 by 2 foot tile, plus shipping, and you just cut them with tin snips. Lots of designs to choose from. Bonus - you can stick recipes on it with magnets! I got mine at Tin Ceiling Xpress.
