Roots invasion too big! What to DO?
My elephant pears are spreading the roots, do I just mulch over them or cut them off! It gets so huge in the summer!

Mine do the same thing but I just leave them this time of year because the cold usually kills the above ground roots. Sometimes I cut them off if they have rooted to pot up too but they do not always do well. You may want to dig up and separate the bulbs and use them in pots for height or even sell them to others (they go for about $5-10 apiece).
