Wine Holder Repurposed as Garden Planter

Adventures In Junking
by Adventures In Junking
I found this wine holder at a local thrift store - minutes after I saw an old grater in the same shop.
Do you see what I see?
I went back and got one of the cups from the grater - perfect fit
See the wonderful drainage in the cups?
So I planted them up with the woodland sedum I love so much
And I planted one cup with ivy which I plan to wind around and cover up the wine holder. I painted the wine holder a misty light blue
Then put it in the garden to enjoy the cool rain

The bottle holder itself could be used in a bathroom for all the hair appliances.

@Kelly S Absolutely! The exciting thing about repurposing is that we are learning to see the almost infinite potential uses for things. I think we are becoming a more creative, less wasteful society one upcycle at a time!

I don't know if it is vintage but I do have a couple old ones, and just different ones but I only use the one that was my Mothers
