Kitchen Demo and Complete Remodel

The kitchen was completely demolished. A pass-thru was opened up, gas and water lines were rerouted. Everything was modified from the ceiling, lighting, cabinets, appliances, floor tile and wall tile, granite countertops, tumbled stone backsplash, sink, window trim, blinds .... EVERYTHING was upgraded.

Well, of all of your beautiful projects, I think this is one of my favorites. The stone work on the walls is so different from anything I've ever seen before and I love how you took pictures every step of the way. I feel like I was there!! Congratulations on a lovely project!!

did the owners insist on white grout?...I like to steer them towards colors that do not show dirt so easily.

This is a "work in progress" ... the owner has not decided on the grout color as of yet. What you are looking at is the drywall.

Great...I did a tile project for client a year or so ago ...a platflorm for their pellet stove. The original surface was red brick....like the columns in the picture....the grout color I talked them into is a near perfect match for the "ash" that the stove produces..After a few months use she called me to thank me for such a wonderful suggestion. ...»

When we tile our cabin in Northen New Mexico we plan to use grout that matches the reddish brown of the dirt in that area...cleaning grout is not one of my favorite pastimes

Nice job Is the home owner still living there?

The worst thing is to try to remodel and cleint wants to live in the space your working on

That's a really inviting kitchen, it's says pull up a stool, have a cup of coffee and chit chat while I cook. Tile job is superb.
