Home Tour: Kitchen

When I first bought my home, my kitchen was dark, the back splash was dated and it left me uninspired to cook or entertain. Luckily with a little paint and some new tiles, I was able to give my kitchen a completely new, much brighter look! On a budget!
The cabinets were originally a darker wood, so I had them painted with a high gloss white for an updated look. I then added inexpensive brushed nickle knobs and cup pulls from the hardware store for easy opening. I knew I wanted some color in the kitchen, so I chose these glass subway tiles from Lowe's and I couldn't be happier with the result!
I snagged this vintage canister from an estate sale for $2, and it's the perfect place to store my K-cups for my morning cup of coffee!
And everyone needs a hot pink standing mixer, right?!
