Leaf-Imprinted Clay Dish - With a Hint of Gold

Use a small leaf and some polymer clay to make your own trinket dish with a touch of fall!
Polymer clay is easy to work with, and you can get some great looks inspired by nature.
Clay tools are inexpensive - be sure you're not using your kitchen tools, because polymer clay isn't food safe. (I've got more watch-outs in the post link at the bottom.) But the process is almost exactly the same as cookie baking - so you should be right at home even if you've never worked with clay!
Roll a leaf onto conditioned clay, and cut it in a circle. By baking it in a (crafts-only) bowl at a low temperature, you can make your own dish in under an hour!
Paint with a hint of gold acrylic paint to bring out the delicate leaf pattern. Happy fall!
