Meet Ms. Rosie

I took a dark buffet-style cabinet with glass door fronts from DARK to ROSIE. Painted Old White & Duck Egg Blue, added dark wax & distressed. Cut a piece of old quilting & stapled to back of cabinet. It looks GREAT empty or stuffed full of heirlooms. Total time spent on the project, 'bout 10 hours.

Beautiful. Thanks for the idea of using fabric backing behind the shelves. I bought a small glass-front bookcase to use as a bedside table and I can use that idea to draw attention to the interior.

Very pretty Lynn and I love the vintage looking rose fabric!! That Victorianesque lamp is pretty cool too!! Did you use the AS paint?
