Mr Tom Capelo Tray Ceiling Project

Remove existing Carring wall and wall between kitchen and dining room install three 1 3/4" x 12" X 20' lvl beams install new ceiling joist appox 12" above existing ceiling remove existing ceilings in kitchen dining and living room areas Re-route wiring and swicthes install new can lights cut out ceiling in stair foyer area and tray ceiling blue board and plaster new crown moulding all though there are many choices in choosing moulding so many options

Set up two temp walls to hold up existing ceiling joist remove main carring wall and wall between kitchen and dining room installed new ceiling joist up 12" above existing ceiling installede beam pocket on main carring wall and gable wall installed three 1 3/4" x 12" X 20' LVL beams cut sheetrock 24" out from existing walls removed existing sheetrock from kitchen and dining ceilings removed existing strapping and ceiling joist installed joist hangers

Hard core demo I like it the best. Did the home owner stay there? It's so hard to do a job when they want to have access to the house. It go's so much better if they stay in another location.

Yes they are staying there but no one is home all day so it makes the job a whole lot easyer as with all my projects I keep the place pretty clean and neat the owner Tom is a
great guy I have worked with him on a few projects which are up here exterior stairs and railings which is at the same house and copelo house flip this one is his own personal
house

Okay I know you are all waiting to see the final outcome of this project as it stands now waiting for the plaster to do his thing and still have to install new kitchen and hardwood flooring so it may be awhile before I can show the final outcome of this project so hang in there I will be sure to show the final outcome but I did want to thank all for there great comments which truely makes all my hard work worth it so thank you for all the wonerful comments

This is the finish product on this tray ceiling project new hardwood flooring new cabinets counter tops crown moulding new recessed lights freshly painted
