With DIY home improvements, there is an inherent risk of injury. My husband forgot one of the cardinal rules: don't tell your wife to toss something down and then not watch for it as it descends. He fortunately survived to continue helping me fix up our 1900's farmstead and finish the siding before last winter.

    Maybe you all should seriously consider making your wills and take out a big life insurance policy - it's never too soon to make sure your affairs are in order. Glad to know he didn't suffer anything getting broken - besides his pride!!

    glad he's ok, since you guys have been breaking quite few OSHA requirements on the job site LOL, Rachael you guys have been doing awesome job done in your home I,m really glad glad he's fine..
