Angel trumpet

Two years ago this plant was about 18 inches tall. It had 7 or 9 flowers on it that all bloomed out same time. It has grown this tall after two years with no flowers or seed pods. Should I cut it back?

If your angel's trumpet has been indoors all that time, I doubt it is getting enough light. They really prefer full sun, unless you are in a very warm location. They will take pretty severe pruning, but I suspect yours is leggy and not blooming because of a lack of light.

@Martha Kinslow-Phillips I think I would wait until it is warm enough to move your plant back outside before doing any pruning. At that point you can certainly make new starts from the cutting, but now it is likely your plant is going to go into a period of dormancy indoors and may well lose its leaves. If you hate the way it looks, you can actually put it in your cellar or anywhere cool and dark and then not bring it out until things warm up next spring. Water only enough to keep the root ball barely moist.
