Fireplace Makeover

It seems I can't leave things alone. I like to test new ideas out all the time. I decided to faux finish my fireplace and give it an update.

    It took some experimenting, but I faux finished the brick using three different colors of acrylic paints.

    This was how it looked before.

    I applied two coats of varnish to seal the paint and make it washable.

    I found these sconces at Hobby Lobby. They were $85, and of course, I waited until they were half off! I love them!
