need some ideas for outdoor bar stools. the island is stone. any thoughts?

Really any outdoor patio furniture will do - withstand the weather that is. Otherwise, if you are looking for something unique to work with your decor? A picture of what the island looks like would be helpful ;)

Cable spools? Cut round parts off. Cut one at 1/2 or 2/3 size. (If 24 inches wide, cut 12 or 16 inches) this will be the seat. Use the other 1/2 or 1/3 size as the back. Nail or screw together. If you like the rustic look, sand and clear coat with outdoor waterproof seal, like Thompsons. Or, paint. Dont forget to coat the underside too. Or, make cushions from froam, batting and marine grade fabric. Add tall, heavy duty spindles, stained or painted to match.
