      @Charlotte Belange I'm not sure I understand your question, Charlotte. Most plants commonly referred to as butterfly bushes are members of the genus Buddleja (or Buddleia). It is considered a Class C noxious weed in Washington state. As such, it is probably best not planted in Washington, but if you are going to, make sure to seek out a sterile hybrid like "Miss Molly" or "Silver Anniversary."
