Transfering or adhering text to small objects

I want to print names on my computer and adhere or transfer them to small Christmas ornaments. My printing is lousy, so would like to use computer. Is there a plastic I could print on and transfer to the metal or glass ornament?

That was very interesting, but I am looking to put tiny little names on small Christmas ornaments to personalize them. About a quart of inch high by 1" wide of space. I will check out Graphics Fairy and see what else she has on her site. Thanks so much! This did give me other ideas!

Just get some of those clear labels for printing. They come in different sizes. Look on Avery.com. They also have gold foil stickers.
