Simple Fall Mantel
I wanted to keep my mantel simple this year. I pulled this together using things I had on hand.
A perfectly chippy 3 pained window. The letters were made with brown paper cardstock, XL stencils from the hardware store and craft black paint.
A couple of chalkboards made out of old canvases painted with chalkboard paint and trimmed with yardsticks.
A couple of pitchers, planters, tarnished silver cream/sugar bowls...and of course pumpkins.
Then, I drew this SUPER simple chalk tree and added paper leaves.
Add a vintage metal headboard for a "screen" and that's that.
This plant stand gets a few aqua Ball jars and pumpkins too. I always need a touch of aqua. It is such a soothing color.
