Ceramic Fruits Of Your Labor

You can really paint just about anything these days. These fruit did not start out pretty...
They started as worn out and unattractive fruit that were found at an estate sale.
A friend of mine picked these up and asked me to create them into something that would work in her kitchen. They are almost as big as basketballs and honestly I wasn't quite sure what to do with them. Knowing I was going to paint them, I prepared these fruit using a product called Ceramcoat.
You can get this at any craft store. It will help seal your projects and give your paint something to hold onto. Then I painted away.....
I think they came out pretty neat. Too bad I have to give them back. :) You can find out more information about them on my blog. Let me know if you have any questions.
