Another Special Sunday

Sunday in our house is sometimes just a really lazy day and sometimes it's a day to cook and share the meal with great friends. This past one I was just going to set some dishes out, buffet style, when the decorator in me said, "Come on, you can do it, for blog's sake!"

Four, transferware plates set the theme in floral brown....tiny, English, butter pats with gold, initialed pears for each place setting.

A new plate changed the look of the centerpiece, from it's former look, just enough to make it blend. Layered place mats and white flatware placed above each setting change it from the ordinary design.

  I know that they were quite impressed @to see the setting when they walked in and didn't forget to leave with their little pears :)
