I bought this kitchen table/shelf at Goodwill for $6. I figured I could come up with some kind of an area for the cats.
I sanded, painted and coated with a lacquer finish. Then I made a scratching post and a couple of pillows and it all came together. This is the side view with the scratching post attached to it. Hopefully, they will start scratching this instead of the furniture. It may take some retraining but that's the plan.
Here it is from the fornt view with the pillows and bowls. They seem to have caught on the to eating station, now just for the scratching. Wish me luck.
