DIY Map Coasters

Maps seem to be popping up in home decor more and more lately. I made these DIY coasters with some old maps from our time abroad and some materials from my craft stash! They were fast, cute, and best of all-free!

These are super cute, Melissa! It's a great idea for all the maps and brochures that I hoard from all of my trips.

Thanks ladies! We're huge geography geeks over here so I've got so many maps, why not craft with some? :)

Love this! This is cool. Bet you could go to Barnes and Noble and get a bargain map book, maybe even in black and white. Cut the pieces a little bigger, soak them in tea to yellow them and then do the mod podge thing. It will give a weathered look to them.
