Refrigerator Makeover Using Maison Blanche Chalk Paint

I am a daring little girl!! Using Maison Blanche's La Craie Paint {chalk} I painted my refigerator. I went with Robin's Egg and did a light stencil wash with dark wax and a wipe on poly to seal it from the little hands that touch it everyday!! You can see why and more here.. http://www.vintagecharmrestored.com/2012/08/...

Great idea to keep the little one in sight while you are cooking. When I would get busy my daughter would go to the hallway and paint on the walls. Never could break her of that habit so we moved. ha ha

beautiful job! I love the look. I'm very curious though how you did the sides...so that's magnetic paint with more stencils? also...forgive my ignorance, but why did you have to use magnetic paint?

@Marg C I used magnetic paint on the front of the door because they weren't magnetic. And then used chalk paint on the fronts also. The sides are just a fun contact paper.

@Carolyn there were 3- 2 on the top right door. and a big one in the lower. The only one I can still see is in the top and falls in the on of the stencils but it's little. :)

@Beckie- I was totally scared with the first coat of black magnetic paint and then just went for it with all I had!! I love it!!
