I have tried so many things in my bathtub to keep it ring free, but am still looking! There has to be an easier way then scubbing it so hard all the time and damaging the finish. Any help?

tried that one Gale, that takes a lot of rubbing and work. the problem is you keep loosing more and more shine finish. I'm looking for something gentle and will keep that ring around the tub at bay and shine on!

I use those shower musters in my bathtub. I rinse it with water after my bath and then spray the interior.

Dollar General and Walmart carry a product called Scub Free, it is wonderful, I use it on my shower doors and even my stove hood. The one I like the most is with bleach.

Since it's a ring around the tub and not so much the bottom of the tub, once you get it clean, apply a thin coat of car wax paste to it, then buff it out. Make sure to ONLY get the SIDES of the tub waxed, so you won't have slip and fall issues, but it will make it much easier to clean in the future. Reapply every time you notice it becoming harder to clean again.

@elaine I use scrubbing bubbles with bleach and it works great. But also have a vinyl tub for which there is no hope except replacing it :P but then remodeling required in that bathroom anyway.

I fill the bottom of my tub with hot water up to about 1 inch. I pour in about 2 cups of vinegar and a handful of baking soda. It fizzes and I then scrub with a magic eraser. Works wonderfully...just did it is morning.
