Window treatment for sliding glass doors

We have 3 rooms with sliding glass doors measuring 94" in height and 102 ' in width. Looking for ideas to cover them. I love draperies or sheers on a pull drapery rod, but would love to get other ideas. Two need privacy, one doesn't.

my home is compact and i have a bank of french doors that overlook a lake so i chose roll-up shades to give a clean line. i also used ikea sliding curtains on another door leading to the lake while i wait for new doors, as they are inexpensive and they carry some interesting designs. curtains are beautiful in a large room. of course, plantation shutters are beautiful and easy to maintain. i've attached some pics. good luck. if you google "how to cover sliding doors" you will find plenty of ideas and recommendations.

You should use the beautiful static cling films from Wallpaper For Windows. They give you privacy, UV protection, heat reduction, all without darkening the room. Super easy to install. They will even do custom printing of your art or photos. www.wallpaperforwindows.com We love ours!

I have this very same issue. Please keep the suggestions and ideas coming and I'll check back along with Lori. I'm not a minimalist. So far we've used bamboo roll-ups but they don't insulate as well. How about plantation shutters of some type? Wish I had room for sliding barn doors. Pretty pics, Patricia!
