Redoing Wicker Furniture

I have been repainting a lot my furniture lately. I live in a home that tend is quite dark. The walls in my home are painted a light dove gray, with white trim. So painting most of my furniture white is something that will help reflect the light. Light bounces off of the white furniture.
Here is what I started with. Both of my end tables were spray painted blue. I always loved them that way but since I have moved to this house I have changed a lot of my decor to French Nordic & Shabby Chic, where before it was all Shabby Chic.
I decided to hand paint the end table instead of spray painting it. I wanted the chalk effect so I use flat spray paint. Make sure if you decide to paint with a paint brush use and old one it is rather hard on the bristles. The painting went rather fast and gave me the look that I wanted.
Here is one of the tables finished. I used two coats of paint. It covered them beautifully.
My grand-kids split something on it and it wiped right off! I love the way they look, just perfect!
