Candle wax on floor...help?

I spilled some candle wax on my vinyl plank flooring. I got most of it up with a razor blade, but there is still a residue left. Should I use soft scrub, plastic scrubber, nylon netting..what? This is just a very fine residue, not any chunks I can freeze and lift.

Put a clean rag over the wax, and "iron" rag with a hot iron. It will melt the wax, which can then be cleaned up with the rag. Works on most surfaces, just make sure to keep iron moving and don't put iron directly onto floor surface so you don't burn the floor. Good luck.

@Bernice H cover it with paper towels and use your blow dryer to melt the residue and wipe up kepp adding clean paper towels if it doesn't all come up at once xx

I don't know if I can help , but rub a ice ube over it . I put my candle stick holders in the freezer when there is to much wax build up on them for about a half and hour to an hour the wax peels right off I now its not the same thing but give it a try and let me know how it works .

@Elle @Chris aka monkey @jacqueline beauregard Thanks all. yes I did initially do the ice, this is the residue that is too thin to lift, Chris and Elle...thanks I will try this. I had forgotten about this, but it sounds like the ticket! thanks! The only other thing I could think of was to wear socks and keep buffing it with my feet until gone! ha.

Place a piece of wax paper over the spill area and use a warm iron. Takes it up instantly! No residue left!
