Deck built around a tree
We just completed a cedar deck at a 100 year old home with a well established tree. The homeowner requested that the deck be constructed around the tree to give the feel that it just grew up through the corner. The tree actually serves as the guardrail in that area. Once the deck ages, we'll powerwash and stain it.

Hamtil, it is so nice when contractors try to understand the customer. This is a great example of listening to the customer & then doing what it took to make it look so perfect & well designed. Great job.
