Roses & Earwigs

So all ya'll remember the really sweet story about the husband that planted a rose bush for his wife every year on their anniversary? Well here's some pic's of them in full bloom. This is ...»
the best I've ever seen them bloom! Can anyone tell what variety they are? Also after taking the pictures I started dead heading them and discovered they are full of earwigs. Any rose experts here that can help me out? It's really important to me to save these rose bushes so I can continue to pass that story on to future families that live here.

Many generations before we moved into our house there was a married couple that had raised their family here and every year for their anniversary the husband would plant his wife a rose ...»

Planting on a slope

I don't know if you can tell from these pictures how steep this slope is. I tried to take some from all different angles. It's very steep but it's also a main path to the lower level of ...»
yard and it's covered by this huge pine tree and shaded from the other side by sumac's. So it's really steep, heavily traveled, and very shaded. Is there anything I can plant here?

I have ferns growing wild down lower on my slope near a large darinage ditch. Gong to try to ...»
transplant some on this sloping property..If we can get enough of the trees out, I'm about to place all the azaleas I rooted down there. Must be about thirty! My idea is to get enough trees out to proved some sun, then take a lot of my cuttings back there and see what they do. But, I know that daylilies won't thrive there, because they already "reach for the sun" in certain portions of my yard. BTW: I just this year decided to separate some of mystella d"oro now waiting to see if they thrive.

Cushion Spurge

Can I separate and replant? Does it need any special care?
