BagBox

I had a couple of wine boxes that I didn't want to throw away because they were so sturdy. This idea came about by accident actually because one of the boxes ended up where I unpack groceries. I just stuffed a plastic grocery bag in the top hole of the wine box to get it out of my way. Gravity did it's job and the bag fell to the bottom where I saw it poking out the hole at the bottom where the spigot was. Pulled it out and Voila! Sparked me a new idea and project. I've made several of these for gifts. It fits just about anywhere and keeps those bags contained. It holds tons of 'em! When you put the bags in one at a time, they come out one at a time every time! p.s. I covered them with a generic contac paper I already had and used cards and magazine pictures for decoration. I then covered the entire thing with shipping tape! Very easy!

Great idea Robin. I love finding new uses for what would otherwise become trash. One wouldn't have to take so much time to make these useful. I'd probably just spray paint them and call it done, but I'm sure you had fun picking all the things you put on yours giving them their own personalities.

Oh yeah! Definitely This one happened to be for a good friend who was coming out of a crappy relationship, she's a chef and she's wonderfully mature and sporadic so I personalized it to her humor (mine too....teehee)

I want to add....the reason I buy this type of wine is simply for the 'bladder' the wine comes in. We sail and I can remove the bag o'wine and it fits into any available space in the cooler we have on the boat. Got to love the flexibllity! Also, the bladder is refillable with fresh water that stores equally as well with a drop or two of Clorox....these are things that are vital for us and I love it when I come home and have outlets for creativity.

Nothing wrong with buying wine in boxes. We do quite often. Sometimes in the big jugs. Sometimes more expensive bottles. Just depends. I like that you reuse the bladders too. I never thought to do that. Great idea~!

You're very welcome Robin. What a beautiful sail boat you have. We just bought a boat this evening. Not a sail boat. I couldn't tell you anything about it or I'd sound a fool. I know nothing about boats but they float in water. I've only been on small ones less than a handful of times. Guess I'll learn now!

Beautiful. I'm not sure what you call it, but tonight as we were coming up over a hill just as the moon was coming up it looked huge! The further we drove toward it the further in the sky it became and the smaller it looked, but it was absolutely huge looking at first. I saw this once before and looked it up at the time, but can't remember now what it was called or what caused it to look so huge. Probably something to do with perspective. Had we not just turned onto a busy street I'd have had my hubby stop so I could have gotten out my camera.

That will be me. Or I'll say drivers side, front or back of the boat. LOL I didn't remember the drivers side being on the "British side of the boat.
