Another great find -

I walked my dogs around the neighborhood and came across this end table - i had never seen anything like it before & I new right off - exact how & where I would use it. I went home and enlisted the help of a friend - to pick it up and put ii in my Station wagon. Yes, it wasa that heavy - I could not lift it myself. Here is what I did with it.
This table has a pastel formica top. The pedestil is Chrome, I think. the base is also formica. ( Please ingore the baseboard and wall, they obviously need a new coat of paint),
I had this Silver Fiber Optic tree ($4 - thrift store) I put 2 candle on my mom's old silver plated tray and added her Crystal thermometer in the center.
The tree base is silver and plastic, I drilled small holes in it, to let out the heat from the bulb and let the light shine through the lead crystal chip bowl it sets in. I put rasberry sea salts in the bottom. Aroma therapy.
Lastly, I added another lead crystal candy dish with a Butterfly edge ( 1 of the themes in my living), inserted a battery operated glowing crytal. So no matter what happens there will alway be light.

Nice find . looks like it could also be used as a focal table against the wall in the entry or another area you want to accent , just put a long narrow mirror behind it on the wall to reflect the pretty set up on the table top , adding height and importance.also you can set the arrangement on a mirror on the table top to reflect the arrangement. Fun ,fun.
