Plant combination for today (for all of you with sunny gardens) Pennisetum 'Princess Caroline' and Duranta 'Gold

Edge,' yes they are annuals but wow what a show,

think about trying this out next year

    James, I took that photo yesterday at the Atlanta Botanical Garden.

    I plan to grow the princess next year, it does so well in our heat and humidity, much better than Phormium (New Zealand Flax)

    I will confess to a serious case of phormium envy, which apparently is going to have to be sated by visits to places they grow better. Here are some beauties at Wave Hill earlier this year.
