Luxury vinyl plank flooring

Hi I am taking out all the carpeting from our cabin. I am interested in luxury vinyl plank flooring because it has to hold up to kids, pets, wet suits and towels and the occasional renter. Has anyone used this? What do you think? pros cons... I am looking at shaw matrix at a good price point and Karndean at a very high price point. Thanks for all comments
