I came home from my radio broadcast last Saturday to find six kids and two adults clustered around the passion vine at the end of our street. They were admiring all the Gulf frittillary caterpillars on it.

Milk weed is another plant the butterflies love, the Monarch butterfly. The grand children watch the caterpillars, and after they make their crystallite they can hardly wait until they hatch for the wings need to dry and then they take their first flight, What a delight! The grandchild will be so well entertain for hours while the wings dry and do not even realize they are learning at the same time! Learning is best when the children are having fun!
