It was totally nasty and disgusting inside. Here are some before and after pics of our renovation. We hired a contractor to replace some of the sheetrock, lay the new flooring, take care of the behind the walls electrical and plumbing work, add a tile backsplash in the kitchen, replace the kitchen counters with SileStone and resurface the tub. We removed wallpaper, killed mildew, painted and added new plumbing and light fixtures ourselves. You can see a lot more on my blog:
