Spray Paint Art With Recycled Objects

Spray paint isn't just for covering up furniture. You can create a galaxy in just 30 minutes, NO art training required! In this detailed tutorial, all you need is spray paint, paper, and things you can find in your recycle bin, such as lids, cans, newspaper and cardboard! Imagine a loved one getting this as a gift!
2 weeks ago while traveling in lovely San Francisco, a forgotten dream of painting a galaxy was awakened within me, as I watched street artists painting a bright moon floating above a silhouette of Golden Gate Bridge.
I often painted clouds in art school, and know that it can take days or weeks to give a painting light, air and volume. So you can imagine my excitement when it finally clicked that I can, perhaps, paint a galaxy filled with light, air and volume in 30 minutes!

Not to mention the chance to act like a bad a$$ street artist!
First we create a spiral galaxy using stencils made from cardboard. Then we will create floating planets with the help of crumbled newspaper, recycled cans and lids.
Then we paint a million little stars with another type of cardboard stencil.
Finally, a few shooting stars to make a wish!
Lots of additional tips so anyone can paint this in only 30 minutes!
