A faux fireplace with pallet shelving.

We boxed the old original mantel/fireplace surround we found in the barn. To fill the empty space inside, I'm using a pallet for shelving.

Thanks, ladies! Homa Style - I love the decision to box it out so it can be freestanding and be moved rather than secured to the wall. That's what gave me room for the pallet inside as well. I loved the super old finish so I haven't had the heart to paint the entire thing yet, just living with it as is. I can't wait to see yours! I just know it's going to be fabulous! Good luck!
