Do It Yourself Baby Chair

There are so many cheap, plastic baby toys out there. The kind of stuff you buy and toss. Why not make something out of solid wood, something that will last? I came up with a little chair perfect for crawlers and small toddlers. It's light enough for them to move it around on their own, and just the right size to get in and out of all by themselves. My post has a detailed tutorial and pdf template to download.

What a great little chair. And you can probably even find enough free scraps to build something like this at your house or a neighbor's house.

Also, I have to suggest that people build this as a gift or work on it before baby. I had dreams of doing things like this after the baby, but there is never any time.

Perfect size for the little one; nicely rounded corners to prevent accidents and boo boos. Looks like the toddler likes it too, and that's what's most important.
