My Dining Room Buffet in Gold and Burgundy

I purchased this buffet from Craigslist for my dining room. I must say, it remains the heaviest piece of furniture I have ever bought from Craigslist! My husband and I brought it home and my original thought was to sand back the top and paint the body. However, as I sanded back the top, I realized that the wood was not the best quality and in really terrible shape. I decided to paint the entire thing and did so in a pale gray. I'm now in the process of revamping my dining room and decided to give it another makeover in a deep burgundy red to incorporate it into my "new" dining room.
Here it is now. I used Annie Sloan Primer Red mixed with Burgundy. I then added a wash of Burgundy on top and waxed it in dark and clear waxes. I hand painted the gold details and cleaned the original brass pulls to add another pop of gold.
Here is the before pic. I really did like the gray but I needed it to be redone in a warmer color.
I used Brasso to clean the original drawer pulls and give them back their shine. I free hand painted the gold details onto the doors to add more gold highlights.
This picture shows how the color changes in the light from darker red to a deeper hue.
I'm very happy with the changed look of the piece.
It really is now a statement piece in the room!

It's beautiful, I like Annie Sloan paint too. I'm trying to find a nice color for my walls, would you mind telling me what color and paint you used on your wall? Thanks
