Easy Upcycled Christmas Gift Idea.
This is going to be hard to believe but it officially snowed in Michigan Friday so I decided I had better start making myself some fingerless gloves. I love to wear them while I’m working on the computer, my hands are always so cold. I have priced them and not willing to pay $85 for a pair so I decided to make my own. They can be made in less than 20 minutes for under $3. Now that sounds like a much better price, right? I started with a GW, Anne Klein Cashmere sweater, that’s where the $3 came in, and cashmere will last forever and always look nice so I couldn’t go wrong. A few minutes of my time, and I’m a happy camper.
Step #1 – Find an old sweater or grab one from GW.
Now put them on and look super cute. Another way to wear them is scrunched at the wrist. If you have something bulky on this looks great and also fits better than stretching the gloves over a bulky sweater. A big Thank You to my model Britney, she volunteered to pose for me, and did a wonderful job.

Elizabeth Riceman on Nov 09, 2014I think this is a great idea and I really was thinking this myself. I have several tight sweaters and these would make great fingerless gloves. Thanks for bringing this idea to our attention. I think fgloves will be around for a long long time. They are so cute.
