Making my office more home-y

I have an office that is really lovely. Big windows take up one whole wall. I have a big wrap around desk and there are two walls that are bare. I have a small table and a plant, but I just want some advice on how to make it more comfortable and warm.

This post and the photos might offer some good ideas:

I would suggest a comfy chair and a nice bookcase. Of course, either could lead to a lot of procrastination (says the guy who works from home).

Window treatments and punches of color with decorations? If you could share a photo it would be most helpful :)

Over by the table and plant, add a floor lamp and comfortable chair....maybe even an ottoman that can be pushed out of the way but used to invite someone to sit and visit! A basket on the floor beside the chair with magazines and a throw over the char adds a touch of homey.
