Kitchen Holiday Tree

I bought this little tree for my kitchen last Christmas (2011). I liked having it in the kitchen so I could see it every day. It just makes me happy to look at it. So, I decided to leave it up and decorate it for different holidays. I will leave the American Patriot tree up until 9/11 then will decorate for fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, then start all over with the Christmas Pink Flamingo tree. Next year I'll add more holidays.

It would be a great display for hanging Christmas cookie cutters as ornaments. Any kind of kitchen gadgets can become ornaments along with homemade cookie ornaments. I watch for Christmas cookie cutters in thrift shops and garage sales throughout the year to put on kitchen Christmas decor and also on wreaths. Your trees are pretty!

Great idea. I've never entirely understood why we decorate a tree and bring it inside just for Christmas. Might as well enjoy it all year. Also reminds me of this classic Jim Gaffigan bit:

Not a fan. Sorry, don't mean to offend you. I enjoy my Christmas tree during the holidays, but also enjoy getting my space back to normal afterwards.

No offense taken. He's not for everyone. It just tickles my funny bone.
