Thanksgiving Chalkboard Decor

Since my home doesn't have a fireplace and mantel, the salvaged wood chalkboard that I made has become one of my favorite places to decorate for each season.
The big chalkboard is in my entryway, making it the perfect place to hang seasonal decor.
For Fall, I made I made a paper rosette wreath that hangs on the chalkboard. I love how the warm Fall colors of the wreath look against the chalkboard and salvaged wood. See the tutorial on my blog at http://createandbabble.com/paper-rosette-fall-wreath/
To turn the wreath into Thanksgiving decor, I made glittered letters that spell out GATHER, and strung them across the wreath.
I wanted to finish the phrase, Gather and Give Thanks by writing with chalk on the chalkboard, but my chalkboard writing skills are non-existent so I cheated by making a stencil out of chipboard.
This was a quick, easy, and low-cost way to add a little Thanksgiving decorating flair to existing Fall decor.
