Impromtu night lamp

Being thrifty & creative comes in handy.
I had a Maple pedistal candish, a battery operated dome light and a dollar store mirror. I recently picked up the lead glass shade for $2 at a thrift shop. Hmm? Let's see--
I stacked them up and look what I got? Pretty isn't it?
Cool night light too. No electricity needed, protable and I can use a candle or the battery light. I didn't use the mirror yet - but now that I am looking at the pic's I think it would look nice under the base.

Elmers wood glue w/ cotton string wrapped around the base of the threaded can dy dish and heavy duty double faced mounting pads to keep the shade on the candy. Need to be able to remove the now and again - it is a real versital piece.
