What would you do with this?

I'm trying to figure out what to do with this. I bought it at a garage sale for $1 and figured I would figure out something but all I can think of is to put plants on it or make a table of some kind? Any ideas? BTW, it is a Mac Tools creeper. Thank you.

I love the idea of turning it into a table! What a great conversation starter :)

I think it would make a great coffee table. Remove the swivel wheels and add some primitive/rustic legs and give it a bit of a finish to protect it. You could actually have a thick piece of glass cut to cover the whole top, which would add even more protection for the signage.

i too think it would make an awesome coffee table remove creeper swivels add chunky short legs and reattach swivels, i would just clean and put some polycrylic on top to protect it, if it doesn't fit your decor put it on craigslist and it will be gone in days mancavers would love it xx

Add higher sides to it and it can be used for underbed storage!

Make it into a potting bench. I actually like the wheels and it would be a shame to lose them though. Too good to hide under a bed but if you did what Dyana Elkins suggests it might fit under a table or console in a hall where it can be seen. Add some rustic charm. If you used the base as it is and added to it it could be the base for a BBQ cart - already has the wheels?

add some legs and make bench. or top an old chest with it and make a potting table. it is a very interesting thing. I would love to know what you decide.

I'd coat it with a protector - poly or Cabot's stain wax. I have bought wrought iron deals on wheels for easily moving heavy plants around on my deck. That' s the first thing that came to my mind when I saw it.
  • That was another idea I had. Such great ideas. I'm finishing one project and might start this one soon!! Thank you.

I would polish the creeper wheels and shellac the wood, hang it on a wall and put pictures on it.. something simular to the boat what not shelves. perfect for a man cave.

@Cheryl Borns perhaps add longer legs and shelves to use in the kitchen or diningroom as extra storage/serving space. You can put the rollers on the bottom of the legs for ease of movement.
