One of my favorite furniture makeovers to date. For the finish I used Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint.

#Bestof2012.I've had this vintage radio cabinet in my living room for a number of years. I think it had been pieced together through the years with different kinds of woods and finishes. I spruced it up with Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint and now I just love it.
Time: 4 Hours Cost: $34 Difficulty: Moderate

Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint in Tricycle Red. I started with a vintage radio cabinet and wanted to achieve a chippy look, not the distressed look.

This is my first piece using MMSMP and I use the cabinet to display my vintage quilt collection.

I used a little of the MMS Milk Paint in Shutter Gray for some of the detail.

Now I know how I recognized your name at the conference! I remember seeing this cabinet in a couple of party features and I loved it! Especially with your beautiful quilts displayed inside. It is lovely!

I love painted furniture I say if you can prim it you can paint it. I have not tried the milk paint yet but would love to redo all my living room stuff and the china buffet and hutch it is dark wood now I would do black and destress but hubby hates black furniture so I'm thinking a dark almost navy blue. My whole house is full of blue and white . you do beautiful work, love everything!

Thanks Debbie, I love blue and white, so calming. You could do two colors on maybe one piece of furniture. Blue and White!
