How to replace a garbage disposal

There is a website called e how that has a tutorial that is amazing. I followed it and replaced my disposal....hint: 1. try and replace with exact unit because the plumbing is already in place for it. 2. IF YOU HAVE A DISHWASHER, MAKE SURE YOU PUNCH OUT THE HOLE IN THE DISHWASHER DRAIN spout. My husband was impressed. Tim Gibson is the presenter.

Nice. Just a warning, though. Be careful with tutorials on eHow. Some of the stuff is certainly written by experts and is great advice. However, I have also read stuff that is way off.

Well, this one was right on and I really knew enough to know that he knew what he was talking about. But what is the worst that could happen? That I would have to call a plumber? I wouldn't try it on electrical wiring that's for sure. But that's a good point.
