Most Lowe's stores will recycle these. If there is a non-profit botanic garden or greenhouse in your area, I am guessing they would be happy to take them back as well. Saves them some money buying new ones.
I take them back here, but that will be a bit of a drive for you. Though I do have some rather awesome plants and sales going out right not- It might be an enjoyable visit for you!
We reuse them to pot up and give them away to our customers and vendors...back in the day.. we actually made money selling them back to vendors.:)
SIDE NOTE- If you are recycling pots for seedlings or vegetative propagation, it is best to use a mild bleach solution before reusing the pots. Here is a great link for a practical guide.
Four seasons I could save my pots for you if you reuse them. I recycle them for my clients, but I can combine a drop off with a visit to your nursery. I really want to go there and see what pops into my cart!
@ Flowerscapes- well you know I have everything marked down to practically free right now...lol....You are welcome to bring your pots anytime. ...and I have a west coast conifer truck coming about 2 weeks from now that will knock your socks off- I went a little ummm needle crazy this fall.
I can't wait!!! I.ll be smiling all the way to the nursery. I am installing plants today and hopefully will not need a pick ax. If I finish this site today, I'll be able to come over tomorrow. I am looking for one burgandy Iceberg rose. Got any?
