Gold Thanksgiving

I love Thanksgiving! The food, the friends and the decorating of the table. So much fun! This year I decided to go with a White + Gold + Black color scheme (my favorite, as you know!).
Hello, I think I love you! I painted some mini pumpkins that in all honesty were starting to look a little worse for wear. I used Gold Leak I already had on hand on the pumpkins and on the little animals.
I bought a few gold sprigs from the Dollar Tree to stick in with the dried Hydrangeas I "borrowed" from the neighbors house.
Then I typed out my menu and glued it to some shiny cardstock I had on hand.
My plan was to make these little animals into placecard holders but I gree so attached after I painted them that I couldn't bear to put a hole in them to hold the name cards! I think they add just the right amount of quirk to this table :-)
I also added one of my string art pumpkins to the centerpiece. I put in the candle holders and cutting boards for a nice natural touch.
I have to say, this is my favorite tablescape so far! Do you decorate the table for Thanksgiving? We usually bring in another table to put the food on so we can leave the centerpiece. Thanks for reading and be sure to hop over to the blog for more pretty pictures! preview
